About Us

What is the Columbus House of Hope?

Columbus House of Hope is an emergency shelter where women and children who have experience family violence or other crisis situations may stay for up to one month.

The location of Columbus House of Hope is confidential, as is information regarding residents.

We are open and ready to be of service to you 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Columbus House of Hope is a safe and secure place where you can receive support, crisis counseling and referrals and advocacy in a nonviolent atmosphere.

How Long Can You Stay?

You may come for only a few hours or days for a quiet place to think and assess your situation and seek help, until you feel confident you wish to return to your home.

Or, you may stay for up to  ONE MONTH while you begin to re-establish yourself and your family in the community.
